    Overall Activity Objectives:

    • Counsel parents prenatally on the prognosis, expected postnatal care and natural history of a wide range of congenital diagnoses in a team setting with common language.
    • Implement prenatal intervention in the rare cases that may benefit, and incorporate appropriate timing of intervention with the requisite workup to facilitate referral to an appropriate center.
    • Recognize the indications for advanced imaging and participate in team-based interpretation of findings, including implications of associated anomalies as they relate to prognosis and outcome.
    • Manage mental health needs of parents prenatally and post-natally by screening for perinatal stress and making referrals to appropriate community resources.
