Overall Activity Objectives:

Counsel parents prenatally on the prognosis, expected postnatal care and natural history of a wide range of congenital diagnoses in a team setting with common language.
Implement prenatal intervention in the rare cases that may benefit, and incorporate appropriate timing of intervention with the requisite workup to facilitate referral to an appropriate center.
Recognize the indications for advanced imaging and participate in team-based interpretation of findings, including implications of associated anomalies as they relate to prognosis and outcome.
Manage mental health needs of parents prenatally and post-natally by screening for perinatal stress and making referrals to appropriate community resources.
